Whether you drive a Ram 1500 full-size pickup, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, Chrysler Pacifica minivan or a Dodge Hornet, that vehicle will be a lot healthier and more reliable if you give it regular oil changes and other factory-recommended maintenance. Because we’re committed to helping you have the best ownership experience, we invite you to make a New Year's resolution to bring your vehicle to our Mopar® service center for regular maintenance.

You might also want to start thinking about using your tax refund to get a newer car. Here are some of the resolutions you can make to help get your new year started right at Bob Mariano Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Concord, NH.

New Year's Resolution #1: See us for regular oil changes

Your car, truck, SUV or minivan is built to last for many miles when it's cared for correctly. The most essential part of that process is a regular oil change at factory-recommended intervals. Your Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram vehicle is continually running into tiny particles of dust and dirt that can work their way into your engine. Your car’s motor oil cleans away all that grime but it needs to be changed periodically. Resolve to have us flush out the old motor oil and replace it with fresh new lubrication. We recommend getting your car’s oil changed every 5,000 miles.

New Year's Resolution #2: Let us take care of your tires

Your tires are some of the most important safety components on your Ram truck or Jeep SUV. We can do a tire inspection to be sure you have enough tread depth to help you drive safely around Hooksett or Nashua. If you have anything less than 4/32nds’ worth of depth, we’ll recommend that you get a new set of tires. Once you get those tires, make a resolution to get a tire rotation whenever you do an oil change. That means you'll be having us rotate your tires every 5,000 miles and that will help your tires wear more evenly which will make them last longer.

New Year's Resolution #3: Have us check your antifreeze

The antifreeze, or coolant, in your car’s radiator helps keep your engine from overheating in the summer and in the winter. Your car’s water pump can last longer if you get your antifreeze flushed periodically. That avoids having old, worn-out antifreeze that becomes acidic and causes damage to your car's engine. Old antifreeze can also harm rubber hoses and your water pump bearing. Resolve to have us check your antifreeze and make sure it gets flushed and replaced every 30,000 miles.

New Year's Resolution #4: Ask us to check your battery

Winters here around Bedford and Manchester can get extremely cold and that can be hard on your battery. Your car's battery should perform reliably for years but it can begin to wear out without much of a warning. Ask us to do a load test on your car’s battery to see whether it still has enough power to keep starting your car reliably. If your battery is wearing out, we have a great selection of outstanding batteries in stock and we'll be glad to install one for you.

New Year's Resolution #5: Use your tax refund to get a better car

Most taxpayers in this country withhold enough in federal taxes to get a nice tax refund of around $3,000 a year. That can help our Tilton buyers make a bigger down payment on a newer vehicle which will help you lower your monthly loan payments. Check out our new vehicle inventory and resolve to start the new year with a better car from Bob Mariano Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Concord, NH.
